Queen of Hearts (Fundraiser) Pageant

Categories of Competition:

Beauty-

• You can be as dressy as you’d like! Any church, flower girl, prom, or pageant dress/gown is acceptable. ANY type of shoes. Boys may wear any nice outfit, suit, or tux.

Photogenic-

• All photogenic photos will be submitted at check in. 8″x10″ is preferred but any size will do.

Community Service-

• Our hope is that all contestants will bring a donation item to check in. All items will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Charities Northland and the Children’s Hospital Mpls. EACH CONTESTANT THAT BRINGS A DONATION ITEM TO CHECK IN WILL RECEIVE THE FULL 10 PTS FOR THIS CATEGORY. (See Rules & Regulations for more information on acceptable donations)

Side Categories- Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, Best Smile, Best Attire, Best Personality (Optional)

• This will be judged and determined during “group line-up” before the Beauty competition.

Ultimate Red Diamond Supreme

• This award goes to the contestant with the highest overall score in the entire pageant. This score is calculated by adding together the scores from Beauty, Photogenic, and Community Service competitions.
• Receiving a Gorgeous Round Crown, Sash, 3 foot trophy, and Prize Package!!

Pink Diamond Supreme – (0-8 year and 9+ year Grand Supreme)

• This award goes to the two contestants with the second highest overall scores in the entire pageant. This score is calculated by adding together the scores from Beauty, Photogenic, and Community Service competitions.
• Receiving a Gorgeous Round Crown, Sash, 3 foot trophy, and Prize Package!!

Green Diamond Supreme- Community Service Award

• This award goes to the contestant we feel has gone above and beyond to give back to our cause.
• Receiving a Gorgeous Round Crown, Sash, 3 foot trophy, and Prize Package!!

Yellow Diamonds- Divisional Queens/Kings

• This award goes to the contestants with the highest Beauty score in their age division.
• Receiving a Gorgeous Round Crown and Sash

Emerald Winners- Divisional Runners Up

• This award goes to the Runners up to the Queen in their age division.
• Receiving a Crown and Sash

This award goes to the contestant with the most referrals, adz pages, raffle ticketsn and door tickets sold. ( Each contestant will receive 1 point per raffle ticket sold, 2 points per door ticket sold, 2 points per referral, 5 points per ½ page of ads sold, and 10 points per FULL ad page sold.)

Categories of Competition:
Beauty/Formal Wear  – This is a semi-glitz pageant, so you can be as dressy as you’d like! Any church, flower girl, prom, or pageant dress/gown is acceptable. ANY type of shoes. Boys may wear any nice outfit, suit, or tux.

**Please refer to the Rules/Regulations for makeup guidelines. For this event, each age division will first have a “divisional line-up”. This allows the judges to see the entire age group before judging begins. At this time SIDE AWARD winners will be determined (but not announced). Once group line-up is complete, contestants will be announced on stage one at a time. Each contestant is allowed approx. 30-45 seconds on stage to do any modeling they would like. During this time, we will read out a few pieces of information from your entry form (hair color, eye color, favorite food, hobbies, etc.). When it appears the contestant is about through (or time has run out) we will kindly say “thank you”.

Denim Wear  (OOC) – This is an outfit of your choosing that matches the Denim or Diamond theme! Be as creative as you would like. Anything goes, but please keep it age appropriate.
